Baseball Recap: Ripley Comes Up Short

Ripley lost against Milan on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers lost 9-1 to the Bulldogs. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ripley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Caldwell, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Ripley's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Milan, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-12.

Ripley has already played their next contest, a 15-1 loss against Lakeland Preparatory on the 23rd. As for Milan, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-4 defeat against Henry County on the 23rd.
