Volleyball Recap: Windsor Charter Academy Comes Up Short

Windsor Charter Academy lost against Stargate School back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Windsor Charter Academy lost 3-0 to Stargate School. The Firebirds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aedan James paced Windsor Charter Academy's offense, picking up six kills. James were helped by Garrett Ogden and Taylor Smith, who contributed six assists each. Finally, Samuel Walker kept Windsor Charter Academy's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Windsor Charter Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Stargate School, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-2.

Windsor Charter Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Campion Academy at 5:30 p.m. on the 31st. As for Stargate School, they will venture away from home to square off against Arrupe Jesuit at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
