Soccer Game Preview: Robinson vs. Herndon

The Robinson Rams will challenge the Herndon Hornets at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Robinson played in-conference for the first time on Tuesday and got just the result they were looking for. They blew past Woodson 5-1. Considering Robinson have won three matches by more than three goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Herndon's game on Monday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against Edison by a score of 3-1. The victory continues a trend for Herndon in their matchups with Edison: they've now won four in a row.

Robinson now has a winning record of 4-3-1. As for Herndon, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Robinson beat Herndon by a goal when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 2-1. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Hornets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
