On Thursday, Cypress Lake strolled past Southwest Florida Christian with points to spare, taking the game 70-51. That 19 point margin sets a new team best for the Panthers this season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 60 points the game before, Bonita Springs was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They were dealt a 63-30 defeat at the hands of First Baptist Academy. The matchup marked the Bullsharks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Cypress Lake's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Bonita Springs, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Cypress Lake was able to grind out a solid victory over Bonita Springs when the teams last played back in January, winning 53-44. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
