Baseball Recap: Seminole Seminoles vs. Osceola Warriors
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Seminole can now relate to. They fell just short of the Osceola Warriors by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. The Seminoles were red-hot at the plate heading into the matchup (they scored no less than ten runs in the three contests prior), but the Warriors' pitchers proved too tough.
Seminole got a good showing from Bailey White, who didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. White has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Seminole saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Patrick Mazzei, who went 1-for-3 with one double.
