Northgate took care of business in their home opener on Saturday (and then some). Everything went their way against the Tamalpais Red Tailed Hawks as the Northgate Broncos made off with a 68-48 win. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Broncos just coasted through the last quarter.
Northgate's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Grayson Boustead, who went 9 for 11 en route to 21 points plus six assists and six rebounds. Nico Martin was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds.
