Soccer Game Preview: Samuell vs. Wilson + How To Watch

Samuell is 0-7 against Wilson since March of 2017 but things could change on Monday. The Spartans will venture away from home to challenge the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. Samuell has given up an average of 4 goals per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Samuell fell victim to North Mesquite and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Stallions, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, Samuell can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 723rd, while North Mesquite are ranked 248th).

Meanwhile, Wilson sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over West Mesquite on Friday. Wilson haven't had any issues with West Mesquite recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Wilson's win bumped their record up to 11-0-5. As for Samuell, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10-3.

Samuell suffered a grim 10-0 defeat to Wilson in their previous matchup last Wednesday. Can the Spartans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
