Softball Recap: Trinity Takes a Loss

Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Coldspring-Oakhurst Trojans, falling 19-3. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Trojans from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Coldspring-Oakhurst, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

While Trinity had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
