After a string of six wins, Tomball Kings's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Episcopal Knights by a score of 4-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Homeschool of the 9-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Tomball Kings saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brennan Zarro, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Tomball Kings' defeat dropped their record down to 14-13-1. As for Episcopal, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Tomball Kings will head out to challenge Westside at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Episcopal, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Bellaire.
