Basketball Recap: Central Wisconsin Christian Takes a Loss

Central Wisconsin Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 63-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oakfield Oaks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Oaks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 80-55 back in January.

Central Wisconsin Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Oakfield, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central Wisconsin Christian will square off against Lourdes at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Central Wisconsin Christian is facing Lourdes at the right time seeing as Lourdes is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Oakfield, they will head out to face off against Horicon at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Horicon knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Oakfield likes a good challenge.
