Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask El Cerrito). They blew past the Richmond Oilers, posting a 109-22 victory. While the Gauchos didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-20), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

El Cerrito has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Richmond, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. El Cerrito will face off against Pinole Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. El Cerrito is facing Pinole Valley at the right time seeing as Pinole Valley is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Richmond, they will square off against Kennedy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
