Baseball Recap: Geneseo Takes a Loss

Geneseo lost against Rock Island on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Maple Leafs took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rocks. The Maple Leafs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Geneseo's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Rock Island, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-8.

Coincidentally, Geneseo and Rock Island will both be playing Dunlap the next time they take the field. The Maple Leafs will head out to face the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Rocks will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
