There's no place like home for Fayette Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They walked away with a 20-12 win over the McNairy Central Bobcats on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Vikings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fayette Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Corbin Bowling, who rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown. Another big playmaker for Fayette Academy was Clay Anderson, who returned a punt for a touchdown.
The victory got Fayette Academy back to even at 1-1. As for McNairy Central, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
