Basketball Recap: Logan Elm Victorious

Logan Elm hadn't done well against Bloom-Carroll recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Logan Elm Braves secured a 49-44 W over the Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs. This was a revenge game for the Braves: when they faced off against the Bulldogs back in December of 2024, they had to take a 53-51 loss.

When it comes to explaining why Bloom-Carroll lost, don't look at Emma Sorrell. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 14 points and 20 boards. The dominant performance gave Sorrell a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Davynn Miller, who posted 14 points.
