Baseball Recap: Western Boone Takes a Loss

Western Boone and Seeger squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Western Boone had to settle for second. They fell 4-1 to the Patriots. The Stars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Patriots earlier this season, when they won 14-3.

Western Boone saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Beau Sawyer, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Western Boone is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-12. As for Seeger, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season.

Western Boone does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Seeger, they have already played their next match, a 6-3 loss against Delphi Community on the 31st.
