Baseball Recap: McGavock Comes Up Short

McGavock lost against Overton last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Raiders fell just short of the Bobcats by a score of 5-4. The Raiders' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

McGavock's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Overton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-7.

Coming up, McGavock will face off against Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Overton, they will square off against Oakland at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Patriots will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Bobcats surely won't give up without a fight.
