The Brooklyn Hurricanes scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by Lincoln West at home to the tune of 70-11. The win was a breath of fresh air for Brooklyn as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Ashlyn Dyson was her usual excellent self, shooting 5-for-10 from downtown and dropping a double-double on 25 points and 16 assists. That makes it 13 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Brooklyn's points. Amerie Williams was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds.
Brooklyn's victory bumped their record up to 5-17. As for Lincoln West, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
