Peotone won the last time they faced Herscher and things went their way on Friday too. The Peotone Blue Devils walked away with a 59-46 victory over the Herscher Tigers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blue Devils.

When it comes to explaining why Herscher lost, don't look at Jacob Mccree. Despite the final result, he went 7 of 11 on his way to 16 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Payten Young, who posted eight points.

Peotone's win bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Herscher, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-13.

Peotone will take on Coal City at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Herscher, they will head out to face off against Streator at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Streator will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Herscher surely won't give up without a fight.
