Basketball Recap: Chapin Extends Winning Streak to Three

Chapin had won two straight games and Reagan Haggard did her part to make it three on Saturday. The Chapin Eagles took down the Mid-Carolina Rebels 53-36 thanks in part to Haggard, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 15 boards. That's the most rebounds she has posted since back in January of 2024.

Chapin now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Mid-Carolina, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Chapin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 60-30 defeat against Clover on the 30th. As for Mid-Carolina, they will challenge Newberry at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Mid-Carolina is facing Newberry at the right time seeing as Newberry is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
