Mt. Vernon-Enola was handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against White County Central on Friday. The Mt. Vernon-Enola Warhawks blew past the White County Central Bears 72-46. The Warhawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 21 points or more this season.

Mt. Vernon-Enola's win bumped their record up to 18-11. As for White County Central, they dropped their record down to 4-23 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mt. Vernon-Enola will face off against Wonderview at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wonderview knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Mt. Vernon-Enola likes a good challenge.
