Softball Recap: Renton Takes a Loss

Renton lost against Evergreen on April 9th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Red Hawks came up short against the Wolverines, falling 16-1. The Red Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mayliahna Pitoau was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Sophina Zebley, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

Renton's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Evergreen, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Renton has already played their next game (against Franklin Pierce), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Evergreen also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against Muckleshoot Tribal.
