Volleyball Recap: Gunn Takes a Loss

Gunn lost against Menlo School back in September of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Titans fell just short of the Knights by a score of 2-1.

Leading Menlo School to victory were Ava Wang and Allison Yu. Wang had 11 digs, while Yu had two aces and two assists. Wang is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Gunn has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-13 record this season. As for Menlo School, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-16.

Coming up, Gunn is taking a road trip to challenge Lynbrook at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Menlo School, they will host Mercy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
