Ashland and Churchill are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2016, but likely not for long. The Grizzlies will head out on the road to take on the Lancers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ashland has given up an average of 11.3 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Ashland is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Saturday. They lost 13-4 to Eagle Point.

Meanwhile, Churchill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Thurston.

Churchill saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abigail Wiscovich, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Wiscovich also put up a double, which was her first of the season.

Ashland's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Churchill, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.

Ashland couldn't quite get it done against Churchill in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 as they fell 9-6. Can the Grizzlies avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
