Football Recap: Whiteland Warriors vs. Mooresville Pioneers

Whiteland lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Mooresville, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's matchup. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 35-14 margin over the Pioneers on Friday. The Warriors' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Mooresville lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Connor Cruz, who threw for 196 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 30 yards. Tyler Denny was Cruz's top target, picking up 22 receiving yards.
