Basketball Recap: Hart Takes a Loss

Hart was the 74-68 winner over Hillcrest Christian when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Hart Hawks took a 68-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hillcrest Christian Saints on Friday. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hart's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Hillcrest Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-10 record this season.

Hart didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 61-56 win against Reseda on the 4th. As for Hillcrest Christian, they will square off against Knight at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Knight knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten games -- so hopefully Hillcrest Christian likes a good challenge.
