Basketball Recap: Camden County Vo-Tech Comes Up Short

Camden County Vo-Tech fought the good fight in their overtime game against King's Christian on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the King's Christian Knights by a score of 32-29. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Warriors have suffered since December 14, 2024.

King's Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lily Welsh, who went 6 of 9 on her way to 15 points. Another player making a difference was Vivian Galvis, who posted eight points and six steals.

Camden County Vo-Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for King's Christian, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Camden County Vo-Tech will host Salem at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for King's Christian, they will take on Varsity Opponent at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
