Volleyball Recap: North Mesquite Comes Up Short

North Mesquite was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the White Longhorns.

North Mesquite's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for White, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season.

North Mesquite will face off against Wills Point at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for White, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Terrell on the 23rd.
