Basketball Game Preview: Pahokee Blue Devils vs. Glades Central Raiders

Pahokee is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Glades Central is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Pahokee Blue Devils will host the Glades Central Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Monday, Pahokee didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Glades Day, but they still walked away with a 44-38 victory.

Glades Central is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.6 points per game. As for Pahokee, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.

Pahokee was taken down by Glades Central 68-30 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Glades Central's Ishmeal Bienvenue, who went 6 of 8 on his way to 14 points along with eight boards and three steals.
