Football Game Preview: Tuttle Tigers vs. Grove Ridgerunners + Official Tickets

The Tuttle Tigers will face off against the Grove Ridgerunners at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Tuttle is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Clinton 51-6. The Tigers' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

It was another big night for Cruz Campbell, who threw for 364 yards and six touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes. Those six passing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Donnie Schluter was Campbell's top target, picking up 120 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Tuttle didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jordan Lane and Major Vanderburg. Lane got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Grove got the win against Sallisaw on Friday by a conclusive 35-14. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 21-0.

Grove's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Tuttle, their victory bumped their record up to 11-0.
