Basketball Recap: Williams Prep Comes Up Short

Williams Prep lost to North Hills Prep back in January of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Falcons took a blow against North Hills Prep, falling 49-10.

North Hills Prep was led to victory by Vrinda Dontineni and Vaibhavi Mitakanti. Dontineni went 6-for-13 to rack up 14 points and six steals, while Mitakanti shot 60% from the field on her way to 12 points and four steals. The last time Mitakanti's field goal percentage was this high was back in January of 2025. Another player making a difference was Geetika Yennam, who posted four points along with eight rebounds and four steals.

Williams Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for North Hills Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season.
