Volleyball Game Preview: Jay Royals vs. Tate Aggies

The Jay Royals will venture away from home to face off against the Tate Aggies at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Jay didn't have quite enough to beat T.R. Miller and fell 3-2.

Jay couldn't get the win, but they sure gave T.R. Miller a tough time in the first set. The final score came out to 30-28, 25-23, 17-25, 17-25, 15-13.

Mylee Frazier put forth a good effort for the losing side as she had 16 digs.

Meanwhile, Tate came up short against Gulf Breeze on Wednesday and fell 3-1.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Gulf Breeze scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 23-25, 25-21, 25-17.

Tate's loss ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-5. As for Jay, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-3.
