Kankakee Trinity Academy came out on top against Families of Faith Christian Academy on Saturday thanks in part to Cory Hathaway's efforts. Hathaway turned in his biggest game of the season, shooting 5-for-8 from deep and dropping a double-double on 23 points and 14 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in steals (four).

Hathaway and Kankakee Trinity Academy will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family. The last time Hathaway duked it out with Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family (back in December of 2024), Kankakee Trinity Academy came out on top by a score of 69-59.
