Soccer Recap: St. Petersburg Snags Tenth Victory in Last 12 Games

It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but St. Petersburg ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged the Osceola Warriors out 4-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on January 10th.

St. Petersburg hit Osceola with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kiana Sayavong (2), Alana Smith, and Ellie Swain.

St. Petersburg is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 63 goals over those 12 games. As for Osceola, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-6.

As of now, neither St. Petersburg nor Osceola have any future games scheduled.
