Volleyball Recap: Bucyrus Gets the Win

Bucyrus took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Wynford, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Redmen had just enough and edged out the Royals 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Redmen have posted since August 26th.

Bucyrus took Wynford into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-22, 25-15, 23-25, 17-15.

Reese Garvin went supernova, getting 26 digs and four assists. That's the most digs she has posted over her last nine matchups. Aubrie Kimmel also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Bucyrus was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. They are 3-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Despite the loss, Wynford still got an impressive performance from Makayla Morgan, who had 22 digs.

The win made it two in a row for Bucyrus and bumps their season record up to 5-7. As for Wynford, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.
