Soccer Recap: Big Bear Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Big Bear's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Victor Valley Jackrabbits as the Big Bear Bears made off with a 4-1 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bears needed considering they were shutout in their previous game.

They hit Victor Valley with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Scott Tello (2), Massimo Donado, and Caius Courtney.

With the victory, Big Bear broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5. As for Victor Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7-2.

Big Bear will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Lucerne Valley at 3:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025. As for Victor Valley, they will head out to face off against Sultana at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
