A Season-Best Effort from Maximino Ramos Leads Basic over Foothill

On Thursday, Basic got the W thanks in part to Maximino Ramos playing the best football he has all season. Ramos picked up three sacks, forced a fumble, and made 11 total tackles.

With the win, Basic broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-6. Ramos and Basic will square off against Bishop Gorman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

With the defeat, Arbor View broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-1. Thatcher and Arbor View will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Liberty at 6:00 p.m. on October 24th.
