Football Game Recap: Mineral County vs. Sierra Lutheran

If Sierra Lutheran were expecting to get some payback for the 13-59 defeat against Mineral County the last time they met, then they were left disappointed. Sierra Lutheran came up short against Mineral County on Saturday, falling 37-46. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Sierra Lutheran.

The loss dropped Sierra Lutheran's record to 1-2. The win got Mineral County back to even at 1-1.

Sierra Lutheran are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Smith Valley next week at 1:00 PM. Mineral County will look to defend their home turf against Virginia City at 7:00 PM.
