Camp Verde is preparing for their first region matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will host the Fountain Hills Falcons at 3:45 p.m. Fountain Hills took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Camp Verde, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, Camp Verde turned things around against Williams on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-8 victory over the Vikings. The Cowboys' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Reagan Statler and Aislynn Mulcaire made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, Statler didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched.
