Basketball Game Preview: Churchill County Greenwave vs. Pyramid Lake Lakers

The Churchill County Greenwave and the Pyramid Lake Lakers will face off at 8:00 a.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Churchill County picked up another tournament win on Thursday. They escaped with a win against Reed by the margin of a single free throw, 55-54. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Greenwave.

Meanwhile, Pyramid Lake took a blow against Reed on Thursday, falling 83-55.

Churchill County is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.4 points per game. As for Pyramid Lake, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.
