Basketball Recap: Latexo Comes Up Short

Latexo lost against Lovelady back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Latexo Tigers took a blow against the Lovelady Lions, falling 72-6. The game marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Latexo and nudges their season record down to 9-11. As for Lovelady, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Normangee the next time they take the court. Lovelady will head out to face Normangee at 3:15 p.m. on Friday, while Latexo will host them at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
