Basketball Recap: Providence-St. Mel Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Providence-St. Mel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 52-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Aurora Central Catholic Chargers. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Providence-St. Mel's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Aurora Central Catholic, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Providence-St. Mel will take on St. Laurence at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Aurora Central Catholic, they and Lisle will face off at 6:45 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played.
