Basketball Recap: Danvers Comes Up Short

After flying high against Beverly last Sunday, Danvers came back down to earth. The Danvers Falcons took a hard 53-38 fall against the Holliston Panthers on Tuesday.

When it comes to explaining why Danvers lost, don't look at Angielouise Djoko. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double with 14 points and 15 rebounds. Djoko has been hot recently, having posted ten or more boards the last three times she's played. Kayda Brown was another key player, putting up six points and five rebounds.

Danvers' defeat dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Holliston, their win bumped their record up to 8-13.

Danvers does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Holliston, they will challenge Medfield at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
