Softball Recap: P.K. Yonge Blue Wave vs. Gainesville Hurricanes

Thursday just wasn't the day for P.K. Yonge's offense. They suffered a tough 16-0 defeat at the hands of the Gainesville Hurricanes on Thursday. P.K. Yonge has not had much luck with Gainesville recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

P.K. Yonge saw one different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emma Mansfield, who went 1-for-1 with a double.

On Gainesville's side, Leanna Bourdage was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit while striking out 11 over four innings pitched.
