While Dickinson put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Brazoswood. The Gators narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Buccaneers 1-0. The victory was some much needed relief for the Gators as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

The win got Dickinson back to even at 8-8. As for Brazoswood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-11.

Coming up, Dickinson will face off against Clear Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Chargers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Gators' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
