Basketball Game Preview: Hitchcock County Falcons vs. Arapahoe Warriors

The Hitchcock County Falcons just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Arapahoe Warriors at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Hitchcock County will head out to face Arapahoe after giving up their first home loss of the season on Friday. Hitchcock County took a 58-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Maywood/Hayes Center. While the Falcons didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Wolves 16-9 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Arapahoe). They came out on top against Brady by a score of 56-43 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won five in a row.

Hitchcock County's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Arapahoe, the victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-17.

Hitchcock County lost to Arapahoe on the road by a decisive 58-43 margin in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Can Hitchcock County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
