Football Recap: Southeast Bulloch Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Windsor Forest last Friday, Southeast Bulloch came back down to earth. The Yellow Jackets fell just short of the Liberty County Panthers by a score of 10-7 on Friday. The game marked the Yellow Jackets' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Colton Zito threw for 31 yards on five of eight attempts. On the ground, Colby Smith rushed for 116 yards on only 15 carries.

Elijah Brown was his usual excellent self, rushing for 123 yards and one TD for Liberty County.

Southeast Bulloch's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Liberty County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Southeast Bulloch will head out on the road to square off against Groves at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Yellow Jackets will be up against the Rebels' rather soft defense (which has allowed 46 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Liberty County, they will take on Johnson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
