Basketball Game Preview: Glenn Falcons vs. South Central Satellites

The Glenn Falcons and the South Central Satellites will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Glenn is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Glenn is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Jimtown on Saturday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Glenn took a blow against Jimtown, falling 56-16. The match marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Joe Divine and Jude Nicks, who each put up six points.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Central). They snuck past Lakeland Christian Academy with a 59-53 victory on Tuesday.

South Central's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Glenn, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Everything went Glenn's way against South Central in their previous meeting back in November of 2018, as Glenn made off with a 59-35 victory. In that contest, Glenn amassed a halftime lead of 34-11, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
