Basketball Recap: Huron Comes Up Short

Huron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 60-36 to the Brandon Valley Lynx. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-17.

Leading Brandon Valley to victory were Alyvia Padgett and Gracie Salter. Padgett went 10-for-15 to rack up 24 points, while Salter shot 64% from the field en route to 16 points and seven rebounds. The match was Padgett's fifth in a row with at least 22 points. Another player making a difference was Ava Kellenberger, who posted six points and three steals.

Huron's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Brandon Valley, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 18-2.

As of now, neither Huron nor Brandon Valley have any future games scheduled.
