Volleyball Recap: Mccomb's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

McComb won the last time they faced Toledo Christian and Alyvia Shaheen did her part to make sure it happened again. The Panthers came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday for which the team can thank Shaheen, who had 19 digs and five aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last four games she's played.

McComb walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-13, 15-25, 25-17.

McComb moved to 10-11 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak. As for Toledo Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 14 of their last 15 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-19 record this season.

McComb didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Riverdale on the 8th. As for Toledo Christian, they will take on Evergreen at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
