Softball Recap: North Mecklenburg Vikings vs. West Charlotte Lions
North Mecklenburg can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent match on Monday. They blew past the West Charlotte Lions 15-3. The victory was familiar territory for North Mecklenburg who now have three in a row.
Jordan Grice made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off only one hit. Grice was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, North Mecklenburg got a massive performance out of Scholar Bates, who went 3-for-4 with a home run, a triple, and a stolen base. Another player making a difference was Quinn Murphy, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.
